  1. Hello Sophia,
Coming from previous experience with a video essay on project two I just wanted to give you some suggestions for your timeline in project 3.

One of the big things I ran into issue with during project two was having enough time to cut everything together. My experience with the video essay showed me that the majority of the time on the project is dedicated to editing. Make sure to give yourself enough time to edit the video this week.

Also, make sure when you're using your camera and speaker on your computer, that you listen to your voice back to try and get the best sound you can get out of the video essay, as a normal webcam doesn't have the best microphone, so you have to be sure to be in a quiet room with you speaking clearly into the microphone.

Also one last thing I want to recommend, make sure in the video editing software program your using, probably iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, that you know how to transition between video and photos or different photos because it will allow you to smoothly keep your video moving along for a better final cut.

    Otherwise good plan!
